Duffell Research Group

About Me

Paul Duffell grew up in Seattle and attended the University of Washington as an undergraduate student. After many years of working as a security guard / barista / art gallery sitter / radio show host / record store clerk / pizza guy, he attended New York University where he acquired his PhD in physics, specializing in computational astrophysics.

Post-doctorate, Paul spent four years in Berkeley, California on a fellowship from UC Berkeley's Theoretical Astrophysics Center, and two years in Cambridge, Massachusetts on a fellowship at the Institute for Theory and Computation at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian.

Paul is now an assistant professor at Purdue University.
