It’s time for the obligatory “wow I haven’t posted anything in like two months” post. Anyway, this is my official return to the sphere-o-net, long overdue. How is everyone? Good. First order of business, what I’ve been up to since last we blogged:

The cafe is still not open. After a couple short weeks (or months or decades) we’ll be back in business, but for now I’m keeping myself busy however possible. This currently entails the following:

  • Dropping by the cafe to see if they need my help renovating
  • Studying math & physics (Mostly algebraic topology and string theory)
  • Helping with the FSS simulation code at the physics lab
  • Writing the physics engine of the game ndrw & I are working on
  • Meeting up with as many friends as I can (because social interaction has become scarce during this mandatory vacation)
  • Drinking (also mandatory, enforced by my boss)

In addition, I’ve finally finished my revisions to the Geometric Concepts text. Now, if only someone would read it.

My goals for the next month:

  • Take up dragon-fighting.
  • Come up with a unified theory of the cosmos, then come up with a better one.
  • Pick a fight with the Empire State Building, and win this time.
  • Swim across the solar system (freestyle on the way out, backstroke on the return trip).
  • Go to McDonald’s

Unfortunately, I would have to take lots of drugs in order to accomplish any of these goals, so perhaps I’ll just keep on doing what I’m best at. Whatever that is.
